Singapore's SMRT Ticketing Machines

Assignment in my Cognitive thinking module was given to improve Singapore's SMRT’s General Ticketing machines. Did a mockup of the before and after ui designcDid user research, surveys and interviewed people on which parts of the GTM were hard to understand or use esp for the elderly or disabled. Areas like purchasing a ticket and choosing station does not give any audio or visual feedback when button is tapped, so user may be confused and tap screen multiple times.I decided to come up with an added filtered section for circle line, downtown line, etc with an added search bar, to improve user experience and convenience.
